AEG 2003 ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual AEG meeting was held in Vail, Colorado.
AEG 2002 ANNUAL MEETING
The Association of Engineering Geologists (AEG) and the American Institute of
Professional Geologists (AIPG) held their joint annual meeting last year in Reno, Nevada.
Here is a message from the AEG*AIPG 2001 Co-Chairs:
Fellow Members:
We respectfully wish to acknowledge the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The images and impacts of those events are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. To those who have been directly affected by the loss of family, friends, or co-workers, we extend our condolences, and offer our prayers and wishes for healing and recovery.
Our sincere concern for those fatalities, casualties, and losses cannot deter us from our commitment to our families, to our profession, or to our nation. To be daunted would only serve to reward the perpetrators of this barbaric act of terrorism and war upon our country. Let us resolve to rededicate ourselves to our personal and professional efforts to serve and benefit society.
To that end, the 2001 Planning Committee continues to set the stage for a great meeting. We hope that your service to our society and profession will compel you to enhance our meetings' joint participation. We urge you to take this opportunity to make a personal statement by registering and attending the meeting "Geology: Central To Society's Needs". Join us in a show of solidarity as we seek to expand and improve our understanding and application of geology. Come to St. Louis for the 2001 AIPG/AEG Annual Meeting!
Sincerely,
Lawrence C. Rosen & John T. Howard
