Environmental Consulting Team Member

VESTRA Resources is seeking a motivated individual to join our environmental services team. We are looking for someone who is energetic and ambitious, an innovative thinker who enjoys challenges and problem solving, and can work outside of the box. We are not 100% set on the exact position/role, because we want to find the right person for our team.

Duties may include:

  • Work both independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced professional work environment.
  • Combination of field work, desk/analytical work, report writing and project deliverables, client contact, and project management.

    Qualifications include:

  • Minimum B.S. degree in geology, hydrology, biology, environmental science, or related technical field, M.S. preferred
  • Experience in environmental consulting and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project management experience, including demonstrated success in preparing project deliverables, managing projects schedules and budgets, and communications with clients
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and requirements
  • Strong personal references demonstrating ability and commitment as team player and skill in handling interpersonal relationships
  • Proven client management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Self motivated; strong initiative and work ethic
  • Positive and energetic attitude
