Check in with the security guard in the main lobby before going up to the 8th floor on the elevator. An after-hours receptionist will greet you on the 8th Floor. Please RSVP so we can place your name on the security list and count you in on the food order.
Parking is available at several nearby garages - it would be smart to check on the closing time before parking. The meeting should adjourn by 9 pm, so garage will need to remain open beyond then. The City Center Garage (entrances on 11th and 14th and downstairs of the meeting location) is open after hours. It is quite pricey. The garage at the Marriott/Convention Center (entrance on 11th between Clay and Broadway) is open 24/7 and is a little less expensive too.
***Pre- or Post-meeting libations may be enjoyed at the Pacific Coast Brew Pub on Washington (off 10th on the west side of the Marriott/Convention Center). There are other places nearby, including a bar at the Marriott, but the URS geologists usually hang out at PCBP. (Janine recommends the Blue Whale Ale).
